Sweet Peppers

Sweet Peppers

A bunch of ripening sweet peppers

One seed, one pot and a lovely little sunny spot. The result is a rich green plant with waxy leaves, about a metre tall. I planted Duchy Originals seeds and they absolutely flourished but the time between the large green peppers appearing and them actually turning red felt like an eternity. I planted them in February, which was a little early but they did well and I hardened them off properly before putting them outside. It was August before the peppers started turning red, but it was worth having the plants around all that time because they looked so beautiful. I got about 15 gorgeously sweet peppers from each plant.
