Chanteney Carrots are short, sweet and stubby and ideal for growing in pots. I grow mine in an old Belfast sink I found in the garden and also in a window box, which was shorter than recommended on the seed packet but they ended up just fine. The seedlings will need to be thinned out so they’re at least an inch apart. You can tell a carrot seedling from a weed because the carrot has two straight leaves and one curly one.
